The promise

• No paywalls. Every tool that is free today stays free.
• No signup walls. You never need an account or an email address to run the math.
• No report caps or trial clocks. Run as many deals as you want, as often as you want.
• No trading your inbox for answers. Results show up on the page, not in an email you have to hand over your address to get. I do not sell your data.

Why I keep it free

I got here from a rough starting spot. In my mid-to-late 20s I lived in a van for about a year while I figured out how to get my slice of the American Dream. I saved, bought a starter home, and today I own the duplex I live in. When I was running this math for myself, the serious analysis tools mostly sat behind monthly subscriptions I could not justify.

The people who most need this math are the people least able to pay for it. My view is that homeownership should be within reach, and so should the tools that help you get there. So the tools here are free, and they stay that way.

How the site pays for itself

I would rather be plain about this than have you wonder. The site earns money from ads and from a few clearly marked affiliate links, listed on the disclosure page. There is also an optional pay-what-you-want bundle and a free newsletter for people who want to go further. None of that touches the tools. If you never click an ad, never buy anything, and never subscribe, every tool still works in full.

What optional means

The newsletter, the bundle, and anything deeper I build later are extras. They will never be required to use anything that is free today. If I ever build a paid product, it will be something new on top, not a lock on something you already had.
