Living paycheck to paycheck is often a timing problem as much as an income one. Money comes in and goes back out in the same few days, so you never get a moment to see it and decide where it should go.
What worked for me was giving every dollar a job the day it landed. Start with one small buffer, even a few hundred dollars set aside, so a surprise expense doesn’t become a crisis. Then assign your income on purpose: bills, groceries, and one savings goal each get their share as soon as you’re paid, instead of hoping something is left at the end of the month. Usually nothing is.
You don’t need more discipline for this. You need to write down where the money should go before it gets there.
Put it in order: the free readiness roadmap lays out your money steps in sequence, from a starter buffer to a down payment.
